what is neurodivergence?

Neurodiversity, Neurodivergence, or Neurovariance, refers to variations in the human brain and cognition, for instance in sociability, learning, attention, mood and other mental functions. (cited from Wikipedia)

I was diagnosed with ADHD just a year ago, and have been medicated since. it has been LIFE CHANGING to actually start to understand why my brain works the way it works.

Erin has created a brand that allows those who are neurodivergent to feel safe, heard, and understood. - she did that for me. I've learned SO much from Erin, as she uses her super powers to show the world how fucking bad ass she is. she's taught me a lot about my own strengths, and helped figure out the "why" behind a lot of my actions.

It can be very isolating to be "different" and not understand why you're "different" but as soon as you realize it truly is your super power, you end up meeting a community of amazing people who just get you - I know I did.

Erin Backman is a Certified Life Coach and the owner of Obsidian Hair Studio located in Roseville, California. She specializes in extensions for fine & thinning hair and creating custom coppers for her guests. Education has always been at the forefront of Erin’s life and she’ll be a forever student and mentor to those on her team.
