Kicking Off PET 2026: Deep Enablement as the Key to Cloud ERP and AI Value

In this special episode recorded live from the SAP offices in St. Leon-Rot, Germany, host Yannick Peterschmitt kicks off the H2 2026 Product Expert Training with two distinguished guests: Sven Denecken, former SAP executive now advising independently, and Alexander Greb, Senior Vice President at All for One.

The conversation explores why structured product enablement remains the cornerstone of successful SAP Cloud ERP transformations. Sven reflects two decades of shaping these training programs and how the exchange between engineering, partners, and customers creates real outcomes. Alexander shares his perspective on the evolving role of SAP consultants — moving from companions back to true advisors who bring a clear picture of how businesses should operate today.

The discussion then turns to European market trends, with manufacturing and regulated industries increasingly embracing SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. Both guests address the public vs. private cloud debate, the importance of standardization balanced with extensibility via SAP BTP, and the role of methodologies like SAP Activate. On AI, they offer pragmatic advice: distinguish between commodity processes (optimize for efficiency with agentic automation) and differentiating processes (optimize for effectiveness and insight-to-action). The episode closes with actionable guidance for customers and partners still on the fence — register for Product Expert Training, learn from peers, and always link technology investments to business strategy.
