YKF Hip-Hop: TAME-ONE's Mom - (Tame-One of Artifacts)

Exclusive: Tame One's Mother Speaks – Rare Interview on His Life, Legacy & Artifacts Journey | YKF Talks Hip-Hop
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not your typical interview. This is a personal "Thank You"; to Ma D for supporting the art of Tame-One and an attempt to raise money for the documentary about Tame -One. She is in her 80's and I am recovering from a liver transplant. We are two unlike friends dealing with the pain of loss, grief, and recovery. This is a document of a mother who loves her son and wants to keep her legacy alive. It is what it.
If YOU have a problem with a mother who is mourning her son and wants to keep his legacy alive, what kind of person are you? (Seriously, look at yourself.)
1st description:Nicholas Tanek reunites with Mama D (Tame One's mother and short-term manager), going way back to his days as a hip-hop journalist and ghostwriter. Bonded across generations by music, they reminisce on Tame One's New Jersey roots, early graffiti, raw lyricism that fueled Tanek's own recovery from addiction and life struggles, close ties with Redman, exploitative major-label days with Artifacts (Between a Rock and a Hard Place), dark battles with drug use (PCP, mental health), and authentic collabs like Del the Funky Homosapien on the timeless Parallel Thought. Mama D shares managing challenges, unconditional love through tough times, legacy issues (Artifacts trademark, merch), ongoing graffiti tributes, and grief—while urging support for the delayed Under the Same Name documentary via GoFundMe to preserve his underground impact. They cap it off by showing each other vinyl from Eastern Conference Records, Dusted Dons, Spazmatic LP, and more.
NOTE: This is not a BDSM kink interview. This is a hip-hop interview. This is a recovery-from-loss interview.

P.s. Ma D wanted me to make a special shout out to Boom Skwad.
";Tame One absolutely wore, supported and promoted Artifacts merch, that is called .... SWEAT EQUITY"; - Ma D

Quick note: My intro is not directed at any one person. It is for for anyone who has an issue with just keeping the name alive. The hard truth is that with time, hip-hop artists like graffiti can be a “disposable art” as Masta Ace says. Every little bit counts. I know most of you are thinking to yourself (with hostility), “Who the f*ck is this guy?” Like I said, do better than me. His story is should be celebrated more and immortalized on film. I don’t have the money to produce a film. I just survived a liver transplant. Instead of complaining about anyone, why not contribute to the film and support El Da Sensai. He is helping to keep the Tame-One name alive.
p.s. For those nitpicking about what song is correct or who was at your show from 30 years ago, let me ask you this: WHY ARE YOU SPENDING YOUR TIME AND ENERGY ON BULLSH!T WHEN YOU SHOULD BE MAKING MONEY?
REMINDER: Tell your mother you that you love her.
