Biography Flash: Beckham Returns to Netflix Amid Record Profits and Messi Tribute

David Beckham Biography Flash a weekly Biography. David Beckham’s biggest new development is a reported return to Netflix. At the Leaders Conference at Stamford Bridge on October 7, brand partner Jamie Salter said Beckham is making another show with the streaming platform after the success of the 2023 documentary Beckham. Geo News reports that further episodes are being developed, but Netflix has not announced the title, format, cast, or release date. That makes the project significant: Beckham is moving beyond his football legacy into long term control of his own story and entertainment brand. The commercial backdrop is substantial. Promiflash, citing company reporting and The Sun, says DRJB Holdings recorded almost fifty million pounds in pretax profit for 2025, up forty six percent, with revenue rising from seventy two point two million to eighty four million pounds. Corriere della Sera reports that Beckham resigned from the DRJB Holdings board on October 1, with the filing recorded on October 7, shortly after accounts showed record results and a reported dividend worth about fifty one million dollars to him. Neither the reason for his departure nor its wider implications has been officially explained, so claims that the resignation reflects a dispute or restructuring remain speculation. Beckham also remains closely connected to Inter Miami and Lionel Messi. Following reports of Messi’s final Argentina appearance, Beckham posted a tribute on Instagram, calling him an exceptional player and saying he and his family were loved. Polish sports outlet Przeglad Sportowy reported that the message attracted more than eight hundred fifty thousand likes. It was a highly visible reminder of Beckham’s continuing influence in global football and his role in Miami’s transformation of Major League Soccer. On the family and celebrity front, Manchester Evening News reports that Beckham publicly praised Victoria after her Paris Fashion Week show, writing that he could not be prouder. Coverage also noted that Brooklyn Beckham was absent, renewing attention on reported family tensions. Those claims remain unconfirmed by David or Victoria. Separately, Metro reports that comedian Katherine Ryan referenced Beckham during a Chelsea stand up performance after apologising for an earlier joke about Victoria. That is a media talking point, not a new statement from Beckham. Thank you for listening.
