Why we Ignore Dangerous Men, Until it's too Late.

Why we Ignore Dangerous Men, Until it's too Late.

Ever notice how, after a tragedy, the same comments always seem to appear?

"We all knew something was off about him."

"The signs were there."

"Nobody is surprised."

So if the warning signs were obvious, why do dangerous men so often go unnoticed, excused, protected, or given endless second chances?

In this episode of Let's Talk About Murder, we're looking at the psychology behind red flags, why communities often normalize threatening behaviour, why victims aren't always believed, and how dangerous people can hide in plain sight for years before anyone takes them seriously.

We'll explore concepts like the halo effect, cognitive dissonance, social pressure, bystander behaviour, and the uncomfortable reality that sometimes people would rather explain away warning signs than confront them.

Because the truth is, dangerous people rarely appear out of nowhere.

More often, they spend years telling us exactly who they are.

We just don't always listen.
