Beyond the Bars - The Prison Show - 46 years of giving a voice to those too often unheard - October 16th 2026

For 46 years, The Prison Show has been a Houston radio institution and a vital communication lifeline connecting incarcerated individuals, their families, and communities inside and outside prison walls.

Broadcast live every Friday from 9–11 PM Central on KPFT 90.1 FM Houston and Facebook Live, The Prison Show provides hope, information, conversation, and connection—giving a voice to those too often unheard.

And the conversation continues beyond the broadcast. Episodes are available anytime on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and your favorite podcast platform. For those behind the walls, The Prison Show is also available free on Edovo prison tablets in 48 states, bringing the program directly to incarcerated listeners.

Produced by David Collingsworth and hosted by Dani Allen, The Prison Show is powered by a dedicated team of volunteers who keep this important conversation alive.
