ep. 11 it's all about me...

Thank you for tuning into another episode of thirtyish: a podcast for adults figuring their ish out. Last week I didn't air anything and I was trying to think where I was going to go next. I decided to do something that really gets me out of my comfort zone and that's me doing a show by myself. I literally cringe at the thought; so I knew I had to try it out, even if it's only for the first half of the show. Although I was entertaining myself by myself, I wanted to bring my sister into the fold because she is never the one that likes to be in the limelight. She is hilarious and you all get to see the greatness that is Saudia...my night and day sister.

I get embarrassed during my intro of the show and it really sets up the show just right smh, I manifest being on Insecure (4:40), when you realize your getting older (6:15), IT'S ALL ABOUT ME (11:40), that attitude will get you LEFT (21:30), mental health check-in (30:00), Halloween talk (38:00), Saudia graces us with her presence and dark humor (42:20), some people are dogs & some people are cats...I'm a dog-cat (50:30), it's a full house at 508 (54:00), I'm not saying don't trust white people but...(1:03:30), parenting our parents (1:11:00), Saudia puts us on international shows and leaves us with advice (1:22:00).

The next couple of episodes will speak to mental health. As we go into a new season in the midst of the second wave of the pandemic, it's important we have mental clarity.
