In this episode of Business on Top, I'm joined by Daniella and Patrick Gery, the husband-and-wife team behind Trouvé Medspa in Mayfield Heights, OH, to talk about what it really looks like to build a thriving business and a life together.

Daniella shares how she went from being a provider to becoming the CEO of a growing med spa, and the leadership lessons that came with stepping away from patient care and learning to lead a team. We talk about the shift from doing everything yourself to building systems, creating accountability, having difficult conversations, and developing leaders who can take ownership.

Patrick brings his perspective from the operations and finance side of the business, including how his analytical, systems-driven approach complements Daniella's more instinctive decision-making.

We also get honest about what it's like to work with your spouse, separate work from home, divide responsibilities, make decisions together, and navigate the inevitable changes that come with a growing company.
