In today's episode, I am joined with Stephanie Prendergast, MPT as my lovely co-host and we sit down with Dr. Jason Kutch to unravel the mysteries of the brain, pain, movement science and.... surfing!

Join us for an enlightening conversation with Dr. Jason Kutch, a distinguished neuroscience researcher and associate professor at the University of Southern California. Dr. Kutch shares his own personal journey with chronic pelvic pain, introduces us to the MAPP studies, brain mapping, pain research, interstitial cystitis, movement science, and even the surprising connection to surfing!

He discusses his findings on brain mapping and how it is revolutionizing our understanding of the brain's intricate functions. Dr. Kutch shares insights into pain research and how it can lead to groundbreaking therapies for chronic pain conditions. We also delve into the brain's interconnectivity and how studying these connections provides profound insights into chronic pain disorders.

He has also obtained funding by both USC and the NIH to further explore the unexpected, but very exciting, connection between his research and the exhilarating world of surfing.
