PAUSE.. So guarding your thoughts, And choosing which ones to let in. Becomes a daily practice, They affect you from within. So be here right now, And observe the thoughts in your mind. See if you can decipher, The dark ones from the kind. LONG PAUSE… If dreams have been born, From the depths of your heart. Your thoughts might tell you, You shouldn’t even start. PAUSE… If fear has arisen, As you’ve gone about your day. Your thoughts will likely tell you, To stay far, far away. PAUSE… If criticism and self-doubt, Begin to creep in. Your thoughts quickly multiply, And poison you from within. PAUSE… But those thoughts are not you, Once you get that, you’ll see. That here within your breath, You can let them go and be free. LONG PAUSE… This practice that you do, Of being still and calming the mind. Helps you make the space, For the thoughts that are aligned. PAUSE… It all begins in the mind, The reality that you see.
