Well guys, it finally happened! Today "The General" has officially been released! After 18 years of speculation, interviews, hype, and mystery; Guns N' Roses has finally unleashed what many have called "The Holy Grail" of unreleased GNR songs.

Today, we're revisiting the entire saga. We're going to paint a picture of GNR fans and the slow drip of information that was given to us over the years.
