S8: Hear Me Roar E1: Here They Come

S8: Hear Me Roar E1: Here They Come

When you first hold your baby in your arms do you wonder where they will end up as they venture off into the world as adults? As parents to children with disabilities, our worries for the future run deep. We wonder if they will be able to live alone, will they have a job, find happiness, and worry about if they will be taken advantage of by those around them.

In this episode, we dive into our hopes for our kid's future. What are our deepest thoughts and wishes for our kids?

We talk about what we hope for the community at large and nudge nudge the need for more funding assistance for autistic adults. It is a heartfelt episode, a warning we all cried listening back to the recording. Grab the tissues as we open our hearts to the future.
