186: Gateshead Diamond League   Brad cruises some intervals with Mulligans Flat TC and spends more time at its namesake. Julian’s achilles is still a pain, so spends the week learning from other sports. Brady dodges wild animals in Moama and then comes 9th at Lardner Park Cross Country.   Oliver Hoare claimed the scalp of Stewy McSweyn in the 1500m of the Gateshead Diamond League, finishing on the heels of winner Jakob Ingrebrigsten. Matt Ramsden and Ryan Gregson finished 5th and 9th respectively. James Nipperess took on the 3000m Steeplechase, with Nationals rival Ben Buckingham pacing the first 1000m. Morgan McDonald came 4th in the 5000m running 13:22, while David McNeill tried to back up from his recent effort in Perth. Brady puts down a Moose fartlek before also coming down with illness.   Linden Hall set a new record at Run The Tan of 11:35, even despite tripping over at the start. Georgia Hansen, Gen Gregson and Ellie Pashley all followed under Gen’s previous record of 11:54 . Stewy McSweyn posted a time of 10:09, once again narrowly missing Craig Mottram’s record by a second. Ryan Gregson was second fastest with Dave McNeill third. Julian has a down week to recover from the Easter Half Marathon and strides in the next Next%. Brady recaps a close contest in the Canberra Half and makes a triumphant return to road racing.   Daniel Jones, previous IRP guest takes out the Christchurch Marathon in 2:23 and Alice Mason won the women’s marathon in 2:43. Oska Inkster-Baynes & Katherine Camp were the winners of the Half Marathon. Christchurch Marathon Results   Canberra Marathon was won by Myles Gough while Riine Ringi won the women’s marathon. Brady Threlfall wins Half Marathon, while Marina Wong is the first female across the line.
