Insulin Use with Type 2 Diabetes: Navigating Solutions, Avoiding Stigma

Insulin Use with Type 2 Diabetes: Navigating Solutions, Avoiding Stigma

Let's talk about using insulin. For some, that can feel like a huge failure or that they have the bad type of diabetes. But sometimes, diet and exercise isn't enough to manage type 2 diabetes. My guest this week is Dr. Arthi Thangudu and she's going to talk about how she approaches these conversations with her patients and some of the newer options out there for administering insulin.

Also this week, as long as we're talking about insulin, we'll define the different kinds.

This podcast is not intended as medical advice. If you have those kinds of questions, please contact your health care provider.
