Besties, throughout September we covered all things personal growth and really checked in with each other. So the best way to end this month is by talking to Neil Strauss, a ten-time New York Times best-selling author. His books, The Game and Rules Of The Game, for which he went undercover in a secret society of pickup artists for two years, made him an international celebrity and an accidental hero to men around the world. Though this sounds a little questionable, the topic here is GROWTH, which is exactly what’s displayed here today.

This week on Almost Adulting, Violet and Neil begin the conversation by diving right into the controversy of his best selling book, The Game. Violet asks Neil to dive deep to help people understand who he was at that time and unpack the chokehold the book had on society. Of course, this isn't an Almost Adulting episode if the two didn’t talk about relationships. Neil explains why divorce was one of the best things him and his ex-wife could have ever done, leading them to having an amazing relationship today. They also discuss the common mistakes that often lead to breakups, how to move on from said breakups, and why a cheater will remain a cheater unless they mention these specific words…tune in Besties!
