Ep. 69 - Bringing Light to the Darkness: Building a Business to End Human Trafficking & Empower Women - with Amber Runyon, Founder of Eleventh Candle Co.

Today’s episode really touched our hearts, in a way we weren’t quite expecting when we started recording. Our guest is Amber Runyon, Founder of Eleventh Candle Co., a product line launched through Legacy, a non-profit based out of Columbus. Collectively, these two organizations are working globally to redeem, restore, empower, and equip those vulnerable to human trafficking, abuse, exploitation, and addiction.

Human trafficking is probably not at all like what you think it is – and unfortunately, it’s also probably not as far away as you think it is. The silver lining is that there are people out there like Amber making a huge difference, and she shows that even small acts – like buying a candle – can be used to empower others.

We’ve been taking our Care/of vitamins and we feel great! They’re a unique monthly vitamin service that focuses on honest guidance, better ingredients, and personalization. You just answer a quick questionnaire about your goals, lifestyle, and values – then they will help you pick vitamins that are good for your body.

Want to support Amber’s mission (and get your Mother’s Day Gift ready)?

It’s as easy as buying a candle, and you can get 25% off your order using the coupon code WINE&SHINE at eleventhcandleco.com
