"Having crazy friends can often times result in good side effects, says youth motivational speaker Simerjeet Singh in this installment of #SJSLifeStories. One Summer morning, a sleeping Simerjeet is woken up by one such friend, Salin Mahajan who urges him to fill up the form for the Hotel Management entrance exam in Chandigarh.
Coming from a family of accomplished doctors, Simerjeet had already challenged the status quo by taking Commerce in graduation. And signing up for Hotel Management could have been construed as another 'rebellious' move. Although the intention was never rebellion, Simerjeet Singh took the risk of exploring a new territory after a chance morning catch up with his friend Salin.
Little did Simerjeet know that this day, this conversation and this form would end up changing his life forever.
The story inspires us to take a chance in life - who knows what's in store?
