In Simerjeet Singh's life, Hotel Management happened when a friend coaxed him to fill up a form for the entrance exam with the intention of getting the opportunity to visit Chandigarh. When both of them showed up for the exam, a huge crowd of earnest candidates greeted them; many with parents for moral support. That brought home the reality of what Simerjeet and his friend had set out to do.

What started as a fun exercise ended up into a career for Simerjeet Singh. In a well-educated family that expected Simerjeet to follow the footsteps of his parents and become a doctor, perhaps, the notion about taking up Hotel Management couldn't be digested.
While the premise behind giving the test was something completely unrelated, Simerjeet passed the test with flying colors with just 10 days of preparation. Simerjeet calls this test a game changer for his life.
