About the Author - Robert William Service, also known as the Bard of the Yukon, was a poet and writer who found inspiration in the Canadian North. He lived through a time of great upheaval, including World War I, which he served in as an ambulance driver and stretcher bearer. His experiences during the war and his time in the Yukon helped shape his writing, including his most famous works, such as "The Shooting of Dan McGrew" and "The Cremation of Sam McGee".

"Carry On" was first published in Service's collection of poems titled "Rhymes of a Red Cross Man" in 1916, during the height of World War I. The poem was likely inspired by Service's experiences as a Red Cross worker and ambulance driver, witnessing the struggles and hardships of soldiers on the front lines. When things go wrong, as they sometimes will.. Don't Quit Poem | English Inspirational Video | Recited by Simerjeet Singh | Author Unknown | Why Never Give Up Don't Quit poem recitation - "When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you're trudging seems all uphill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest, if you must, but don't you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns, And many a failure turns about, When he might have won had he stuck it out; Don't give up though the pace seems slow-- You may succeed with another blow. Often the goal is nearer than, It seems to a faint and faltering man, Often the struggler has given up, When he might have captured the victor's cup, And he learned too late when the night slipped down, How close he was to the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside out-- The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems so far, So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit-- It's when things seem worst that you must not quit." - Author Unknown. There is a lot of controversy around who the original author is. Some sources on the internet say it was Edgar A. Guest (1881-1959) and yet there are some citations which attribute the poem to John Greenleaf Whittier. Make me an Instrument of your Peace | Prayer of St Francis of Assisi | Recited by Simerjeet Singh

Make me an Instrument of your Peace | Prayer of St Francis | Assisi Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi recited by Simerjeet Singh Prayer of St. Francis Instrumental in HD Lord, make me an instrument of your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love; for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life. English Inspirational Poem | My Wage | Jessie B. Rittenhouse | Aim High | Inspirational Poem English

What are your benchmarks? Are you happily settled for less? English Inspirational Poem | My Wage | Jessie B. Rittenhouse My Wage by Jessie B. Rittenhouse I bargained with Life for a penny, And Life would pay no more, However I begged at evening When I counted my scanty store; For Life is a just employer, He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why, you must bear the task. I worked for a menial’s hire, Only to learn, dismayed, That any wage I had asked of Life, Life would have paid. Jessie B. Rittenhouse (1869 – 1948) Recited by Simerjeet Singh So yes, think big and aim high. Never Settle For Less! (As quoted in Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill, 1960, p. 40.)
