Kamala Harris gained my respect during the VP debate when she was constantly interrupted by Pence and made #imspeaking a trend. Harris, along with many other women, prove time and time again, that as a woman, if you want to be seen, heard, and respected, you cannot wait for an opportunity or permission, you have to TAKE it.
