In this episode of the Curious Realm host Christopher Jordan welcomes Shakespeare scholar and researcher Katherine Chiljan to the show to discuss her book Shakespeare Suppressed: the Uncensored Truth about Shakespeare and his Works and the theory held by many that the so-called “Man from Avon” known to the World as William Shakespeare is in reality not the playwright that historical character all know and revere by the same name is actually a nom-de-plume for the 17th Earl of Oxford, Edward de Vere, also known as “The Spear Shaker”, a member of the English royal court and known poet and playwright himself.
In the second part of the show, we are joined by JL Carpenter, lead council for JL Carpenter Law, to discuss the case of Melissa Lucio, a Mexican-American mother who was forced into the confession of the murder of her children via the controversial “Reid Technique”.
