S03E03 - Phillip Austin (The Northampton Family Annihilation)

S03E03 - Phillip Austin (The Northampton Family Annihilation)

In the third episode of British Murders Season 3, I tell the story of Phillip Austin.

Austin completed a full family annihilation when he murdered his wife (Claire), children (Kieren & Jade) and dogs (Dandy & Sooty) on July 10, 2000.

Austin initially had an argument with Claire about booking a holiday, and after killing her, decided to do the same with the rest of his family.

He was handed three concurrent life sentences in March 2001, with a minimum term to serve of 20 years in prison.
