491. Fearlessly Failing: Matt Preston's Big Mouth!

I've been trying to get Matt Preston on the pod for a couple of years so when he said yes this time I was rapt. He's just bought out a memoir called BIG MOUTH and can i tell you, i binge read it in 2 and a half days! By the end i was weeping, it's so beautiful; the way Matt writes about grief is honest and vulnerable. The entire book feels like he's talking to you directly, which I think as a writer is such a gift. In this episode Matt openly answers all my questions; we talk about Masterchef, losing his brother, his mother down to what your favorite cake says about your personality type. Matt is honest, kind and open. He's a "what you see is what you get" kind of person. And hand on my heart, I believe anyone would get something from his book, i asked him to sign a copy for my Dad which is going under the Chrissy tree this year. I'll be doing a full review of the book on this Friday's diary episode. Matt, it was a pleasure to have you on the pod, thank you so much.
