Episode #33 | Mick's back! We dig in to 2024 Formula 1, 997.2 generation 911's, and weighing in on EV's

🧇 Mick is back! We managed to grab a proper chunk of time to sit and record a whole waffle!

Thankfully Mick also came armed to the gills with ideas for content to talk about. I never sell myself as a Formula 1 expert but it was fun to reflect on Lewis Hamilton's move to Ferrari. What that means, and whether he's going to eclipse Michael Schumacher and pick up his 8th Championship win.

We also talk about the new hypercar from Red Bull and Mick managed to take me from muted interest to fascinated. Normally hypercars are so far from being related to normal people that I can't get emotional about them. Some of the detail around the engine and aero design is unreal.

We also spend an inordinate amount of time talking about EV's! The anti-hero. The balance between necessity and reality when thinking about how doable running an EV is as an only car. There definitely seems to be a jump in interest, but not for proper range figures, for such a wobbly financial market surrounding them.

We wrap up with a challenge! What Porsche should you get for 30-40k GBP. You'll have to tune in to find out our recommendation.
