Rod became obsessed with vampires from an early age. He claimed to be a 500 year old vampire named Vesago and became leader of a teenage vampire cult.

Heather Wendorf was another misunderstood teenager living in Florida who befriended Rod. He introduced Heather to the vampire lifestyle. Eventually, Rod and Heather will plan to runaway resulting in deadly road trip.
