At the end of last week the Whites announced out of nowhere that Ryan Sessegnon was returning to the place that made him on a free transfer, sparking jubilation and nostalgia in equal measure. And earlier this week, it was made pretty clear that Emile Smith-Rowe will be joining the club in the next few days as well - two players once touted as world beaters, still young and with a point to prove, combining at the Cottage next year.
