The Future of One Direction - Episode 1 - You & I, Spaces, Happily, Don’t Forget Where You Belong

Hello! We’re super excited to bring you the first episode of Talk Direction, a weekly One Direction podcast! We have big plans for this podcast, friends, BIG PLANS. But for now we’re starting with this episode, where we introduce ourselves, share our 1D origin stories, and discuss what we hope the boys will do in the future, unimaginable, post 1D-world (it’s more positive than it sounds, we promise). A big shout out to Adam over at taylortalk.org for helping us to begin to find our footing in this harsh world of podcasts. He’s a part of a great Taylor Swift podcast called Taylor Talk that you should definitely check out! In this episode: - We share how liking these boys blossomed from a secret shame into a love strong enough to inspire us to record a weekly hour-ish long conversation about them and share it with the internet! - One Direction release a fourth fragrance, ‘Between Us’ and an incredible accompanying commercial. - Zayn made a surprise appearance at Paris Fashion Week! We talk about his outfits, his new hair, and his collaboration with Kanye (jokes… but we’re sure it’s happening somewhere in a better alternate universe) - Zayn’s getting the matching tattoo he has with Louis removed! …or not? - We discuss Harry wearing nail polish for a good cause. You can donate Safe Horizon – an organization that helps more than 250,000 children, adults, and families affected by domestic violence each year. - Our main discussion this week revolves around The Sun article that states the boys are to go on a break next year after promoting their fifth album. We talk about what we hope to see from each of the boys post-1D. - Direction Connection: we introduce a segment where we challenge each other to somehow make a connection from a random word to the band. Some of our connections are maybe a biiiiiit of a stretch but it’s harder than it sounds!
