How to Finish Work as an INTP

How to Finish Work as an INTP

Being so process-focused, INTPs can sometimes prefer to jump to a new projects instead of finishing the current one. There are not only benefits to finishing the current project but it's not impossible to do.

The Typology of Fred Rogers

The Typology of Fred Rogers

Today on the show we're talking about Fred Rogers, his show "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood" and the documentary "Won't You Be My Neightbor?" Typology gave me great insight into who he was as a person and a greater appreciation for everything he's done through not only listening to his personal story but understanding what was going on for him psychologically as an INFP. He was such a wonderful man, with honest intent, a natural desire for authentic connection with children in a way that no one else has ever exhibited. I know that I love and appreciate him for everything he's done for me, so expressing typology through this episode is a thank you note that I didn't have the chance to give in person on this episode of Super Myers-Briggs Turbo EX. Myers-Briggs Dominant Actions And Inferior Ambitions

Myers-Briggs Dominant Actions And Inferior Ambitions

Today on the show we're talking all about MBTI dominant functions in service of inferior function ambitions. I play around with the idea that our dominant and sometimes secondary function, and overall purpose, seems to map towards the ambitions of our inferior function. For me, that's an overall sense of love and belonging, despite being an INTP. The challenge comes in learning to use my dominant introverted thinking function along with my secondary extroverted intuition to map my forward motion in that direction. I also use the example of an ENFP using their intuition in service of their inferior introverted sensing with the eventually goal of having some sense of stability in order to maintain a sense of playful, optimism and exploration. Why Can't I Figure Out My Myers-Briggs Type?

Why Can't I Figure Out My Myers-Briggs Type?

Today on the show we're talking about all about figuring out your Myers-Briggs type. So many have difficulty figuring out their type because they skip over learning about what it's even for and why it's relevant. How does it all even work and what's the point? If you understood that then you may have a little more patience in learning what your type is and also realizing that it takes more work than just taking one test. There is a lot of life that we've lived and humans aren't that simple. In fact, that's why people reject MBTI because they think it's simple and putting them in a box. It couldn't be further from the truth. We're here to break down why that is on this episode of Super Myers-Briggs Turbo EX. Shadows Functions and Bias

Shadows Functions and Bias

Today on the show we're talking all about the concept of Shadow Functions. It's one of the concepts that someone can become placed into when they're first learning about Myers-Briggs. It can make the process confusing and I think it's at this stage that eventually leads people into assuming that MBTI is nonsense. It gets a little messy at this stage because it is about such deep subconscious behavior that rarely shows up in our lives but if we're exposed to intense projections of other personality types, we can sometimes take on that behavior negatively. Either way, it gets too messy to be looked into too soon in the learning process but it's important to address. Sign up for the FREE easy mode course at http://www.supermbti.training/

Using Typology to Improve Your Relationships

Using Typology to Improve Your Relationships

Today on the show we're talking about using typology as a means to improve or find the right relationship for you. Now, this is a massive topic, so there's a lot to break down but the main topic is to be sure to not use typology as a means to assume what your partner or potential may be like and use this as a way to connect with your partner. Ask them questions about who they are and find out what they flavor they bring to that personality type. That flavor is what will make that connection incredibly exciting. Your Greatest Opportunity for Growth (for all 16 types)

Your Greatest Opportunity for Growth (for all 16 types)

Today on the show we're talking about your greatest opportunity for growth, your secondary function. Each type leads with either a dominant decision making or learning style and your secondary style is going to be the opposite. It's what helps create balance and get you into a flow-state. Many of us lean on our dominant style, which isn't unhealthy, but it's not capable of being in charge all of them. We need to give it a rest and the secondary function is the great opportunity for that kind of relief. The same is true for the tertiary and inferior functions. If they start to take over, the secondary function is most able to jump in and save the day. Think of the dominant and secondary as parents and the two subconscious processes as children, if you let them run the show they'll cause havoc. So, join us on the show today while we break it down for all 16 types on Super Myers-Briggs Turbo EX! How all 16 types protect their ego...

How all 16 types protect their ego...

Today on the show we're talking about how all 16 personality types react to being defensive and how they use that to protect their ego. We get upset, we get offended, we get hurt and when it's least expected we can fire back in uncharacteristic ways. That's because our tertiary function takes over and has it's moment of rage. INTJs, for example, may attack someone's moral character. INFJs may attempt to logically break down why someone hurt them. ENFPs will emotionally shutdown and get factual. Those are only a few examples that we break down in this episode of Super Myers-Briggs Turbo EX! Sign up for the FREE easy mode course at http://www.supermbti.training
