In this episode, I’m gonna talk a little about personal branding 101, and more specifically, how to avoid the biggest mistake you could possibly make if you want to build a personal brand in 2020.

First, I’ll share with you how terrible I was when I began to build my own personal brand and how important this period was in avoiding bigger mistakes.

I also share how I’ve taken inspiration from some of the biggest names in the business including Marty Neuemeir, Chris Do, Al Reiss, Seth Godin, and Gary Vaynerchuck.

Next, you’ll discover how being genuine in building relationships can lead to other people and influencers in the industry getting behind you and defending your brand-building and content-creation efforts.

Then, I’ll uncover the biggest personal branding mistake you could make and how someone in the branding industry is demonstrating exactly what not to do through the very actions they’re taking.

I share with you how multiple branding influencers have reached out to me to highlight how this content “creator” has consistently copied the Brand Master Academy content word-for-word. Since then, we’ve hired an external company to document evidence and issue multiple takedown notices, yet still, the “word-for-word” plagiarism continues (and more people are beginning to take notice). All of this sets the tone for the overarching message of this video. YOUR BRAND AND YOUR PERSONAL BRAND IS YOUR REPURATION. THE ONLY WAY TO BUILD A SUCCESSFUL PERSONAL BRAND IS TO FIND YOUR OWN VOICE.
