Dr. Doreen how do you help parents who are so demoralized that they aren't willing to try new things? I work with a young man who has significant challenges, but I believe there is so much progress left to be uncovered. Mom is very tired and overwhelmed and as a result often asks us not to work on new targets. I don't want to push her, but I know she wants what is best for her child. What do you advise?

My son hasn't had a good sleep for 7 days. He's awake all night and sleeps 1-2 hours during the day. So much energy still. I'm burned out. Tried meds to make him sleep but no help. No signs of pain or sickness. Eats well.

Hi and thank you for your wonderful show. We are in Norway and currently don't have Aba, we do intend to travel and start again soon. My son can imitate gross motor, fine motor, oral motor, 2 step imitation and can verbally imitate all phonics except m and n, he can also discriminate between 1 or 2 sounds in verbal imitation, yet we we struggle to blend sounds. I know there's no easy answer but any advice on how to start would be greatly appreciated.
