Laquan Sanders aka LQ is the owner of Local Legendz Barbershop and the building it is located in. We speak about his upbringing in Tacoma, WA and the trials and tribulations he faced growing up in the rough conditions of poverty. He spent time in foster care at a very young age, but was eventually adopted by his aunt. The struggles of the environment he was raised in directed him to being involved with street life. His life changed when he came to a crossroads and made the decision to go to Job Corps. His experience there guided him away from the streets, to meeting his wife, and ultimately him becoming a barber and a business/property owner!
