Let us know at ThisTimeWith.com/talk EPISODE #47: Coronavirus Impacts Hollywood and The Invisible Man Review - February 29, 2020 MAILBAG Nate says, I have been listening from the beginning and I love how your show has settled nicely into its wonderful structure! Every week I’m anticipating and practicing the Doo Doo Do Do Do when getting into the news. You have talked in the past about ways to make the Theatre experience better and with it really being the Golden era of Television what with the streaming wars and all. I was wondering what would you do to make the TV experience better? If I ran Cineplex (or what ever it is now that they were bought out) I would create a premium season pass that would allow a theatre full of people to get together each week to watch the latest episode of a series. Then I would create a lounge area that would be reserved for those in attendance to discuss the episode they just watched. I would gladly pay a premium price to bring that level of community into my TV experience. Would love to hear your thoughts! P.S. in your last episode Daniel called Gareth Edwards “Gareth Evans.” You’re welcome 😉. My cousins would sing and dance along to Sisters and my Grandfather would sing along with Bing Crosby. Grandpa and Bing had very similar voices so when I hear Bob Wallace singing I get to hear my dear grandpa sing as well. It’s been 13 years since my Grandpa passed away but every Christmas Eve he’s there. I mean at the end of the day they are nice to have access to but I feel like it could be a similar story as it is with backwards compatibility in games where people want it so bad but developers have recognized people seldom play those old games. Do you think this could affect the longevity of these old movies and shows staying on the service? Victor asks, Hey guys huge fan of the pod! I would love to hear whether you guys think that Star Wars will still be “Star Wars” if Disney inevitably stray from the Skywalker arc? Hot take - I don’t think it is anymore.
