NATO and the Accelerating European Crisis

Olga and Mo host an emergency episode to discuss the ongoing migrant crisis on the Belarus border. This orchestrated crisis created by Lukashenko and Putin is an attempt to destabilize Europe. Olga and Mo are joined by LTG (Ret.) Ben Hodges who served for 38 years in the U.S. Army and worked alongside NATO forces against conventional and hybrid threats to discuss the ongoing crisis. The three break down what is going on and consider the potential responses by the EU and NATO. Lieutenant General (Retired) Ben Hodges holds the Pershing Chair in Strategic Studies at the Center for European Policy Analysis. He joined CEPA in February 2018. LTG (Ret.) Hodges served in the U.S. Army for 38 years, culminating in his last assignment as commander of U.S. Army Europe (2014-2017) in Wiesbaden, Germany. During his command, he was responsible for the more than 30,000 U.S. soldiers and regularly exercised alongside NATO forces against conventional and hybrid threats.
