Connecting With Our Senses & The Five Senses Exercise

Our thoughts affect our bodies. Our moods are based on emotions. Our hopes and fears and linked to past or future experiences. At any given time during the day, our minds are working hard to show us potential possibilities or reminding us about past experiences. When your mind is elsewhere, it’s impossible to live in the moment. That’s why practicing mindfulness is so important. How we live in the moment affects our actions and emotions. But there’s a simple way to start living in the moment and really appreciating the world around us. Reconnecting with our senses.
