Episode 21 - Parenting

Robbie is speaking today with the wonderful Lillian Ricardo, HSP Coach and Momprenuer, about parenting as a highly sensitive person (HSP).

We talk about:

  • Negative messages about being sensitive and how to tune into your strengths
  • The martyr model of parenthood and how to model something different for your children
  • Mom guilt and how to release it
  • Self care and how developing resilience around discomfort is one of the keys to taking care of yourself
  • The importance of fun, joy, and play
  • Getting support (including some fun ways to get support from Lillian)

More about Lillian and how to connect with her: Lillian Ricardo is a whole life coach for highly sensitive women. She feels passionate about supporting sensitive women in career, relationships, parenting and self-care. Lillian especially enjoys coaching women in support of recognizing their own strengths and joys through play and connection.

Lillian finds part of her own joy in coaching with curiosity while holding a deeply present and safe space for her clients so that they may do the work to live more fully into what energizes and sustains their true selves.

Lillian is also a mother of two young kiddos, from whom she is constantly learning, being reminded of how to play, invite joy, and lead with compassion.
