I question the assumption that psychic ability, is invalid, and that psychic ability is fiction. Our culture offers no option for neutral, direct conversation about psychic ability colloquially, many just don't talk about it. Some create us as cartoon like targets, for their jokes, or make money on their podcast platform, at our expense.

The strength & aggression, of the cultural bias against psychics [which is gendered, as any Google search of the word "psychic" under the Images tab, proves], and the lack of awareness, re: projection/transference, needs to be explored.

Ashley Judd:

After listening to this podcast, I clarify my feelings re: Ashley Judd's accident in the Congo. Upon further research, reports say she was doing a U.N. conservation trip, and was injured during this work. I am humbled by Judd's talent ["Ruby in Paradise" is a fave film], and feel sadness over her harm. My voice does not communicate that very well, here.

I also have mixed feelings regarding wealthy, famous white actors taking trips to the Congo, after reading "Heart of Darkness" by Conrad. So much learning, about race, gender, and power, money. I get to have these mixed feelings. I apologize that my tone does not convey my respect for Ms. Judd here, . I honor her, and pray for her healing.

Joan Vinge is the author of The Snow Queen. she discusses psychics with lineage, that are trained, called sibyls. Vinge's description of psychic reading, feels like what happens, when I read. Not every time, ~ 50%. Psychic ability has different sense and expressions. For example, when I touch a person's belonging, I can intuit information about them, more strongly.
