Lama Tsomo is author of the book "Why Is the Dalai Lama Always Smiling?: A Westerner's Introduction and Guide to Tibetan Buddhist Practice" and one of the first American women to be ordained as a Tibetan buddhist Lama, or spiritual teacher.
