From 1932 to 1934, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were perhaps the best-known outlaws in the United States. It was during the Great Depression that Bonnie and Clyde rose to fame for their daring bank heists and Robin Hood-esque crimes. Hollywood glamorized them as a young couple in love, but in their time on the run, they left a trail of death and destruction in their path and are believed to be responsible for the deaths of four civilians and nine police officers.
