Despite initial skepticism and ridicule from coworkers, Dufresne, an experienced hunter, asserted it wasn't a bear or moose. Historical and recent reports from the area indicate similar sightings, adding credence to Dufresne's encounter. Authorities, however, suggest it was likely a misidentified bear.
