Katie Palmer

Katie Palmer

Today I am discussing the case of Katie Palmer. This case is unlike any other I’ve discussed on this show so far. On April 21st, 2020, Katie and her husband John were struck by a motorist named Cory Foster. They both sustained some horrible injuries and unfortunately Katie ended up passing away early the next morning. At the scene an officer with known ties to Cory Foster stated several times that he could smell alcohol on him. Cory denied drinking that morning and passed a field sobriety test. However, he did have alcohol in his system and did admit that he was not able to see out of his windshield when he struck John and Katie adding that he should not have been driving. It’s been almost two years and Cory Foster has faced no legal consequences for his actions. Our call to action is reaching out to the Grayson County District Attorney's Office at 903-813-4361.
