EF#10: Five Reasons Why Stomach Acid Is So Important (Part 1)

In today's episode, I talk deep dive into an issue that is very personal to me and my healing journey, stomach acid. It might seem like an odd topic and rather specific but it is a critical one. Particularly, if you want to ensure you are able to absorb your nutrients adequately enough so you have the necessary nutrient stores in your body so you can get pregnant.

So, here are the things I talk about in Part 1 of this subject:

  • Symptoms of low or high stomach acid
  • Biology of the stomach
  • Explanation of what gastric acid is
  • 5 reasons why stomach acid is so important
  • Relationship between low stomach acid, nutrient absorption and fertility
  • How low stomach acid can cause pelvic inflammation and contribute to making Endometriosis worse

Then in Part 2, in two weeks, I will explain the causes of low stomach acid, how to test for low stomach acid, and what you can do naturally to increase your stomach acid levels.
