Welcome to Season 3, Episode 17, Part 1 with my friend/interviewer, Marie Zelenka and “Ask Me Anything Pertaining my Cancer Journey!”
When my girlfriend Marie Zelenka proposed the idea to interview me regarding my recent cancer journey for my podcast, I thought it was a great idea and with our 9 hour time difference (as Marie lives in the Netherlands) we had a stream of consciousness chat where Marie asked me any question on her mind that she was curious to hear my answers, our conversation lasting over 3 & 1/2 hours and split into a 2 Part interview drop over the next 2 weeks, it was an opportunity for Marie to “turn the table” on me regarding my experience being diagnosed with Early Stage 3 Ovarian cancer and my feelings, fears and perspective thus far post my journey with surgery and chemo treatments behind me!
As Marie and I have known one another since 2002 professionally in Hollywood, we have remained extremely close life long friends and why I agreed to sit down with Marie to create an authentic, honest, passionate conversation between 2 girlfriends who really love and want the best for one another and our two experiences through the journey of going through the cancer journey and perspectives gained!
This is exactly why we launched the “Camp Fifi Uncensored” podcast to “gather around the campfire” because we LOVE connection and conversations like this very one with Marie!
