In French you don't say "keep me posted" but keep me ... au jus !

One of the beauty of the French language is definitely its profusion of quirky, funny, poetic expressions... and I know it does not always make sense when translated into English leaving often French culture/language lovers completely flabbergasted... but isn't it part of the charm of the journey afterall?! Oui, oui, bien entendu ! In this episode, I will talk about a handy french expression using the word COURANT (as in curent, power, flow) or JUS (juice).... se tenir au courant (tiens moi au courant), or se tenir au jus (tiens moi au jus) actually means something like: keep me informed, keep me informed, keep me in the loop! Interesting.....intéressant....but why curent? juice? what is the connection you may ask.... the answer lies in today's podcast! Tiens moi au jus si tu n'as pas compris ;)
