Co-Moderator - McKenna Cassidy McKenna found her love of wine while serving in a Napa Valley tasting room. She later graduated from the University of Notre Dame and pursued wine on the East Coast with E. & J. Gallo Winery. She has worked in wine distribution for restaurants and luxury retail stores for the past three years. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, McKenna is a Certified Specialist of Wine (2021), Certified Sommelier (2022), and Italian Wine Ambassador (2023). She loves country swing dancing, hosting brunch parties, and sipping Italian Wine. Guest Bio - Gabriella Favara Gabriella was born and raised among the scents of the harvests and the stories of her grandparents Giacomo and Gabriella, the founders of Donnafugata. After completing her studies in economics and business management, in Italy and abroad, she worked in marketing for two Italian family companies that are leaders in their sectors. Gabriella represents the 6th generation involved in quality wine - this gives her a strong bond with Sicily and her family, and brings her back to her homeland to join Donnafugata in October 2022. At Donnafugata she is part of the wine tourism team - dedicated to hospitality, guiding visits and tastings around Donnafugata’s estates. Hospitality cultivates her passion for relationships, and to share the love for Sicily and for important family traditions. In her free time she loves traveling to discover new cultures; she has a passion for classical dance, photography and music.
