In today's episode, she interviews Christopher Sachs about the Vinitaly International Academy course happening in New York this March. About today’s guest Christopher Sachs is a wine and spirits professional based in Central New Jersey. He was classically trained in Culinary Arts at The Culinary Institute of America where he took a short course in the study of wine. That’s where his love of food and wine really blossomed. Shortly after graduation, he worked in several restaurants before continuing to study wine with the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) at the International Wine Center in NYC and has since completed the Advanced Course in Wines and Spirits, as well as the Diploma of Wines and Spirits. In April 2022, he traveled to Verona to partake in the VinItaly International Academy and passed the exam to become an Italian Wine Ambassador. He currently works as a Sales Representative with Skurnik Wines and Spirits in the NJ/NY area and consults with various retail and restaurant partners on a daily basis. On top of his professional wine career, he also is the owner of Travel By Wine, an education and consultancy center for all things beverage!
