Acing the PE with Autism and ADA Accommodations with Nicole Gonzalez Hatfield, PE

Diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, Nicole faced the daunting task of passing the Civil PE Exam — no easy feat for anyone, but especially challenging with her conditions.

In this episode, she shares her story of securing reasonable accommodations with the NCEES, allowing her to take the Civil PE Transportation Exam over two days instead of one grueling 8-hour session.

She also dives into her experience prepping for and taking the PE Transportation exam. She used super smart study techniques you’ll want to steal, and learned a few lessons you’ll want to listen to so you don’t make the same mistakes.
