By 4pm that afternoon Genette had disappeared without a trace. At around 12:30pm, on the 28th of July 1986, estate agent Suzy Lamplugh left her office on Fulham Road in London. She was seen waiting outside am empty property, 37 Shorrolds Road, which had only been on the market for a week. At 1:00pm, she was met by a man listed in the work diary as “Mr. Kipper”.
