How Do Narcissists Typically Treat Their Ex Partners Post Relationship/Discard (Part 1)

Post Discard or after a relationship with a fully blown narcissist has ended, the aftermath is often inexplicable to their ex partners/friends/work colleagues or family members. There are two main behaviour styles generally displayed or enacted by narcissists after a relationship has run its course. Either of these two behaviour trajectories can be witnessed regardless of whether the target discarded the narcissist or the narcissist discarded their source of narcissistic supply first. Part 1 of this mini series covers the first method of treatment after a narcissists relationship has ended, metered out to a narcissist’s former partner/friend/family member. This method is very hands on and grabbing of attention from all parties involved. It includes a high degree of attempted emotional triggering on the part of the covert narcissist towards their former target. Most people cannot get their minds around this strange and fairly obnoxious, in human terms, behaviour style. This educational podcast seeks to bring meaning to the strange behaviour patterns of a narcissist in this scenario and to support a faster and more therapeutic healing process.
