Accompanied by a 67-year-old man named Jeremy, the two eventually got separated, and after waiting for some time, Jeremy called 911. A search effort would find Hannah's remains in the water, and officers initially made note of the odd circumstances at the scene.Hannah's family has struggled to determine what happened that fateful October afternoon, and have had to fight uphill to get any momentum or answers in her case. From the facts gathered during the investigation, it could have been a local person or it could have been a transient."In the days and weeks after the four victims' bodies were found miles outside of Atlantic City, those that knew them tried to find some answers. I believe that the person who got these girls out here was a person that they trusted."On 20 November 2006, two women were walking along a dirt access road in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, just outside of Atlantic City. The road - which ran parallel to the Black Horse Pike - stretched behind a handful of dingy motels known as havens for pimps, sex workers, dealers, and addicts. There, the two women stumbled upon a grisly sight: the body of a woman, just one of four that would be found dumped in that area.The four victims, all female, were still clothed but barefoot; their socks and shoes had been removed and were nowhere to be found. If it were me, if I was going to do something like this, I would make pretty darn sure that nobody could trace it back to me."On 19 July 2015, an anonymous group calling themselves the "Impact Team" announced via an online post that they'd managed to obtain a large cache of information from website Ashley Madison's parent company, Avid Life Media. The mysterious hacker(s) posted just a small fraction of the stolen data, along with a demand: for Avid Life Media to take down Ashley Madison, a website dedicated to facilitating infidelity, or else they'd release the rest of the data (which included user information).Over the next several weeks, the threat of this leak loomed large over users, while Avid Life Media insisted that they'd done enough to plug up their security holes.
