Sandra recently accepted a position as the Executive Director of CMHA ASER. In this episode, Lisa interviews Sandra Milne in this episode and does a year in review with Sandra Regional Innovation Coordinator. Sandra started as the Regional Innovation Coordinator in January 2020 and could have never imagined what her role would look like in the year to come. Sandra discusses what life looked like after March 13, 2020 and her involvement with the Economic Recovery Team in Medicine Hat, the ShopHERE program and how she saw the opportunity for it to play out in our local area and ShopYXH and why it helps small business owners in Southern Alberta reach new customers in a marketplace. As a final farewell, Sandra introduces who the new Regional Innovation Coordinator is for APEX, Tracy Stroud, and shares insights on some exciting things to come for the innovation and tech sector ecosystem in Southern Alberta.
